I have the honour to forward as usual for the information of the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, summaries of the number of Chinese who left and arrived at this port in the year 1901.

I must mention that the information concerning those arrived is obtained from the Masters and Agents of the various Steamers, and that there is no means of checking the number in this Office.
